York puts stop to in-form Moors' winning efforts

GOALS from Cameron John and Dipo Akinyemi ensured Solihull's winning run was brought to an end as they lost on the road at high-flying York City.

A rejuvenated Moors side had won three on the bounce but found themselves behind after just three minutes at the LNER Community Stadium.

The visitors rarely threatened even though it took York until virtually the full-time whistle to add a second.

Despite their win, second-placed York could not stop Barnet being acclaimed as champions after the Bees swept aside Aldershot Town.
