Teen's mum tells of the heartache of losing her daughter
A DEVASTATED mum said that part of her died on the day her daughter was killed in a car crash caused by her boyfriend.
Leanne Vaughan said Lily-May, 17, was the centre of her world and life would never be the same without her.
Lily-May, from Kidderminster, was the passenger in a VW driven by Logan Addison, now 20, when it came off the A53 near Shawbury Heath in Shropshire and collided with a telegraph pole.
The teenager, described as “beautiful and smart” by her family, died at the scene on February 4, 2023.
Addison was found guilty of causing the death of Lily-May by dangerous driving on April 3 this year at Shrewsbury Crown Court. He was jailed for five and a half years and banned from driving for eight years.
