MUM BRUSHES PAIN ASIDE TO START NEW CHAPTER IN HER LIFE

A YOUNG Midland mum has revealed how her illness can make her body bloat so much that she wakes up a size 12 and goes to bed a size 20.

Jess Muxlow’s health woes began when she caught glandular fever when she was just 14.

The symptoms continued for a long time after her diagnosis and led to her being told she has chronic fatigue syndrome two years later.

When she was 17, Jess, from Walsall, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which leaves her with ‘labour-like’ pain all over her body.

If that was not enough, the mum-ofone was also told she has a tumour and cyst on her brain.

But in spite of all the setbacks, Jess established her direct sales business selling Usborne books in 2023 and was recently awarded the Rising Star title at the UK’s Diamonds of Direct Selling Awards.
