DRINK-DRIVE COP WHO HIT WALL SACKED FROM FORCE

A ROOKIE police officer who was over the drink drive limit when he crashed his car into a wall has been dismissed.
Liam Willams, 21, a student officer with West Mercia Police, was on his way to work when he crashed his car into a wall in Deansway in Worcester in February.
The officer, based at Worcester Police Station, caused 'substantial damage' to the wall, which took three months to repair. But no one was injured during the collision.
The student officer was found to be over the drink drive limit and was arrested and charged.
He was also suspended following the incident.
