MARK WILSON insists 10-man Thistle paid the price for a controversial penalty call by ref Lloyd Wilson which turned the derby.
The Jags boss was left furious after Oisin Smyth was adjudged to have handled for a spot-kick before then being shown a red card moments before halftime.
Thistle led 2-0 at the time and held on for a draw to stay five points off leaders St Johnstone.
Wilson held a summit with the whistler at full-time but admits it feels futile doing so.
He said: “I need to watch what I'm saying but everyone wants honesty and I had a conversation with Lloyd just to understand his thinking.
“You hear Willie Collum (SFA refs chief) saying three weeks down the line that this one or that one should have been a penalty or shouldn't have and someones left their job because of it.
“Not one player claimed for the penalty and it just rolls on. These referees will be in charge of an Old Firm game soon but you look at all of the managerial casualties.
