Why we should put hope at heart of the home next year

NOTHING speaks to the spirit of Christmas more than the warmth and security of a home, yet for too many Scots, stripped by the SNP’s national housing emergency, that basic right is slipping away.

As we gather with loved ones, we cannot ignore the thousands of families - including 10,000 children - spending this festive season in temporary accommodation.

We need urgent political action to ensure that no child wakes up without a permanent front door of their own.
