In Friday night's 5-0 Scottish Cup win over Annan after his £4million move from Sturm Graz. Chukwuani had been introduced to the Ibrox faithful ahead of kickoff along with marquee loan signing Andreas Skov Olsen and £3m left-back Tuur Rommens.
Ibrox boss Danny Rohl reckons Dane Chukwuani will add physicality and European experience to his engine room.
And the 22-year-old, an Austrian title winner last season, says he won't be fazed by the Old Firm frenzy or the hottest title race in decades as Gers and Celtic chase Hearts.
He said: "I want to be successful with the club, try to win as many games as possible, and try to put a smile on a lot of people in Glasgow.
"I like to play under pressure. I just love to play football and I don't really feel the pressure like that.
"Obviously it's a big club but I just try to go out and play my best football, and this is why Rangers got me.
