Marko sinks 10-man Saints at death as Dons break two hoodoos in Paisley

- DAVID REID AT THE SMISA STADIUM

ABERDEEN boss Jimmy Thelin is demanding better despite Marko Lazetic rifling home a 96th-minute winner in Paisley.

It was the Dons first away win since a 1-0 victory over Ross County in April and also their first victory over St Mirren on league duty since December 2018.

The Buddies had Jayden Richardson sent off while gaffer Stephen Robinson was also dismissed at full-time.

The Reds have moved up to 10th, having been bottom prior to kickoff.

Despite getting a slice of luck with Alex Gogic’s header 11 minutes after the restart being chalked off via VAR, it's a second clean sheet on the spin for the Pittodrie side.

Thelin said: “We have a lot of new players, we try to focus on the things we can control.
