No charges after probe into Deepcut Four deaths

A SIX-YEAR criminal probe into allegations of abuse at an Army barracks where four young soldiers died has failed to result in a single charge.

Prosecutors say they have not found enough evidence to prosecute anyone over claims of physical and verbal abuse at Deepcut in Surrey.

Privates Sean Benton, 20, Cheryl James, 18, Scot James Collinson, 17, and Geoff Gray, 17, died of gunshot wounds between 1995 and 2002.

Pte Anthony Bartlett, 26, was also found dead after a suspected overdose in July 2001.
