Texpected Scottish football to be a brutal long-ball duel - but it's better than that

HE was told before he arrived that the SPFL was just a game of kick-and-rush.
But Michael Wimmer admits he has been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Scottish football.
The Motherwell gaffer spent most of his coaching career at German clubs Augsburg and Stuttgart as assistant before becoming a boss in his own right at Austria Vienna.
He managed 57 matches in Vienna and guided them to a fifth-place top-flight finish in his first season.
He had a preconceived idea of what the Premiership would be like when he was appointed at Fir Park to replace Stuart Kettlewell in February.
