Lando hits back at rivals as Oscar fights on

LANDO NORRIS blasted Red Bull for “talking nonsense” as he came out swinging in response to a jibe from Max Verstappen.

Ahead of today’s Qatar Grand Prix, the Dutchman had claimed he would have “easily” won the title if he had driven the McLaren.

It was a clear jab at Norris, who knows he likely must pass teammate Oscar Piastri on the first lap if he is to become world champion today.

But after finishing third in yesterday's Sprint earlier in the day, the Brit said: “Max is very welcome to say everything he wants... I have a lot of respect and he has achieved an incredible amount.
