EWEN FERGUSON boasts a two-shot cushion going into the final day in sodden Belgium - despite fearing the worst after an “awful” prep.

The Scot carded a two-under 69 in wet conditions at the Soudal Open to reach 13 under.

Ferguson began the day with a three-shot advantage and, aside from being briefly caught by Englishman John Parry around the turn, was in control.
