McTominay and Gilmour are the toast of Napoli
SCOTT McTominay was hailed the “best since Maradona” after he and fellow Scot Billy Gilmour helped Naples to the Serie A title in their first season in Italy.
Napoli clinched the crown on Friday in their last game of the season with a 2-0 victory over Cagliari.
Ex-Man Utd midfielder McTominay sparked pandemonium at the Diego Maradona stadium in Naples when he netted a spectacular scissor-kick volley in the 42nd minute to send Napoli on their way to a fourth Serie A title.
