Kirsty's fall wasn't just a terrible accident.. We need answers
Sunday Mail
|April 27, 2025
A PODCAST examining the case of Kirsty Maxwell, who died in mysterious circumstances in Spain, hopes to see the five men who last saw her alive finally come forward with answers.
-
Newlywed Kirsty fell to her death from a Benidorm hotel balcony in 2017 after a night out during a hen do.
Kirsty, 27, of Livingston, had mistakenly entered a 10th-floor apartment occupied by five British men, Joseph Graham, Ricky Gammon, Anthony Holehouse, Callum Northridge, and Daniel Bailey, before she died.
They were cleared as homicide suspects in July 2020 after judges ruled there was no “strong evidence” of criminality and nothing to indicate she had not jumped to her death.
However Kirsty’s devastated parents are adamant she did not jump of her own free will. Now six-part podcast, What happened to Kirsty Maxwell, examines the case and appeals for information.
True Crime podcaster Naomi Channell, who narrates and produced the series, told the Sunday Mail: “I don't think it was a tragic accident. She was escaping from something, all the evidence backs that up.
“There are still so many unanswered questions.
“It will I hope put pressure on the authorities and on those who were in the apartment but have never been properly investigated.”
