Gers look elsewhere as Gerrard rules himself out
RANGERS are scrambling to unveil a new manager before Saturday's game against Dundee United after prime target Steven Gerrard turned them down.
Ibrox chiefs held talks with the 45-year-old former Gers boss in London this weekend and Gerrard is open to a stunning return to Glasgow.
He has already made moves to set up a potential backroom team should he take over.
But while an agreement hasn't yet been reached with the Liverpool legend, the Light Blues are sounding out other candidates as a Plan B.
MailSport understands German coach Danny Rohl, ex-Chelsea boss Graham Potter and Englishman Gary O'Neil have been approached.
