Scot's pledge that aid flotilla will reach Palestine
A SCOTTISH activist aboard a Gaza-bound aid flotilla has vowed their ship will continue with its mission in the face of alleged Israeli drone attacks.
Yvonne Ridley is on the Omar al Moqhtar, part of The Global Sumud Flotilla, made up of 50 vessels and hundreds of participants from 44 countries, aiming to break Israel's blockade on the Palestinian enclave.
Ridley, an award-winning journalist, is among 15 campaigners on board who set sail from Tripoli and joins ships carrying Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and Mandla Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela, aiming to reach Gaza.
