Brilliant PSG run riot to finally secure Euro glory

FLING out the bling. Roll in the silverware.

Paris Saint-Germain ended a 54-year wait to win the Champions League trophy with an Allianz Arena annihilation of Inter.

And Luis Enrique's bold decision to end the megastar era - dubbed the bling years - and replace it with a young, vibrant and sassy new model was vindicated in sensational style.

PSG had the class, the edge and, more than anything, the Desire.

Desire Doue to be precise as the 19-year-old wide man produced a performance fitting the occasion.

He scored twice and got an assist as the French champs blasted into a 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes. The €50m signing from Rennes was magnificent in Munich.

But he wasn't alone as Enrique's side finally lifted the prize they've craved for years.

PSG are the first European team since Celtic in 1967 to complete a Quadruple after lifting the Ligue 1 title, French Super Cup and French Cup in a season of dominance.

And Enrique joins Pep Guardiola as the only manager to win two Trebles with two different clubs.
