ONE CLUB MAN Tony Yogane is feeling the benefit of new diet

- BY SCOTT BURNS

LIFE is sweet for Tony Yogane at Dundee - after he cut down on biscuits and chocolate.

The winger has been flying in recent weeks and has helped to give the Dark Blues a cutting edge.

The on-loan Brentford player feels he is going up the gears after boss Steven Pressley put him in the fit club, changing his eating habits and taking some of his favourites off the menu.

Yogane, 20, said: “It’s good and I'm getting into the swing of things, finding my rhythm.

“Personally, it feels good to play and be shown a little bit of faith, trust and freedom. So, yes, it’s very important.

“For me anyway, if youre not fit enough you struggle to play to your full potential.

“All I needed to do was get to full fitness and then the performances started coming in.

“I was told to come in earlier to do a bit extra to get the fitness up. Now I'm cutting down on a few things in my diet and you can see a big difference. I'm able to play 90 minutes.”
