BLOOM or bust. That would appear to be the way ahead for Hearts in the aftermath of Brighton owner Tony Bloom having formally completed his near £10million investment in the Tynecastle club.

In return for his cash, Tony gets a seat on the board, which he'll give to a business associate, and a platform to deliver his intention to help Hearts “disrupt the pattern of domination of Scottish football which has been in place for far too long”.
Bloom was careful not to promise the Foundation of Hearts, and everyone else, the ultimate prize of a league title win which has evaded every club outside of the Old Firm for the last 40 years.
But the definition of disruption has to be splitting the Old Firm and finishing second in the Premiership, right?
