Hampden roar echoes all down Gorgie Road

WELL KENT FACES Hearts got lift from Scots stars Gordon and Shankland

FRANKIE KENT believes Hearts can bask in some of Scotland's World Cup reflected glory as they aim to refuel their Premiership title charge against Aberdeen.

The Jambos defender admits all the talk this week has been of the national team's heroics, with teammates Lawrence Shankland and Craig Gordon playing starring roles.

Kent could make his first start since August at Pittodrie this afternoon after being sidelined with a knee problem and insists the shine from Scotland's qualification for next summer's finals can be sustained in the months ahead.

He said: "How does Scotland's qualification help us with our league ambitions? Hopefully it can only improve it.

"The Scottish boys have to aspire to be involved in the Scotland squad.

"I'm very jealous in a way but with how well the Scottish boys have done this season, it can only be a positive for us as a team.
