Over 5000 sign petition to stop firm from breezing in

- BY JOHN FERGUSON

OVER 5000 campaigners have opposed plans to build a "floating warehouse" for wind turbines off a beautiful coastline.

Moray residents and fishermen have demand a halt to the proposed development they say will blight beach views, destroy fishing grounds and desecrate a protected war grave.

It comes after London-based Offshore Solutions Group entered a twoyear agreement with Crown Estate Scotland to look into the feasibility of the "FLOW-Park" scheme.

Two sites have been proposed just one kilometre off Nairn and Findhorn which would involve deploying heavy anchors, chains and cables to hold 10,000-tonne bases for under construction turbines.
