STUNNED Tony Docherty admits Dundee should never have lost after leading 3-1 with 15 minutes left.
But the Dens boss insists his players can't afford to feel sorry for themselves in a relegation dogfight.
Dee remain second bottom - five points ahead of St Johnstone - with seven games left, having scored 48 but shipped a whopping 67.
Docherty said: "The overriding emotion is huge disappointment.
"I can't focus on anything but the fact we've lost a game we should never lose. The expected goals for us was 2.8, Rangers was 2.4 and we had numerous chances.
