Jambos make it 12 goals in three games to give gaffer flying start in dugout
-
FREE-SCORING Hearts took their League Cup goal tally to 12 in three games and hit that magic number four again to bury Stirling.
But new manager Derek McInnes insists his Jambos only showed a glimpse of their true potential.
And he reckons his side left out the best of themselves in a wasteful second-half.
Strikes from Craig Halkett, Claudio Braga, Alexandros Kyziridis and Stuart Findlay consigned the Binos to a third group defeat on the bounce.
But gaffer Del wasn't happy with a disjointed display. He said: “You get a wee sense of the team we want to be.
“We were aggressive in the first half and fed the wide players so it was really fluid. Going in 3-0 at halftime was good but we lost a bit of our fluency in the second half.
“I wanted us to show our authority - and we did have control of the game.
