Country set to bask in sunshine but warning issued over wildfire threat

SCOTS are expected to be treated to one of the warmest Easter holiday spells in years.

With many schools across the country closing for the holidays last week, kids will be able to enjoy time away from the classroom and make the most of the good weather over the 18-day break.

Temperatures are set to soar this week as the Met Office has predicted days of sunshine and aboveaverage temperatures for this time of year.
