The former Scotland and Glasgow City team-mates are in opposite dugouts for the Sky Sports Cup Final - with some simmering frustrations over how last week's Broadwood league clash played out as a last-gasp Rangers penalty inflicted a first defeat of the season on City.

Ross was irked at the call, suggesting that the 90th-minute spot-kick would not have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

Such tensions will be used as the catalyst for a response today.
