ANOTHER BOOS UP

THE Rangers team leak appeared to have been plugged before kick off.

- FRASER WILSON AT IBROX

ANOTHER BOOS UP

But more fan fury flooded Ibrox as 10-man Gers allowed two Premiership points to disappear down the drain.

Ryan Astley’s 51st-minute header looked to have earned Dundee their first win in Govan since 2001.

But James Tavernier rescued a little-deserved point with a 90th-minute penalty before the fans hit the boos at full-time.

This was another awful afternoon for Gers. Dundee skipper Clark Robertson headed against the post after half an hour and had another effort rattle the woodwork soon after before being flagged offside.

Joe Rothwell, Djeidi Gassama and Jefte had shots flash wide from distance. But Rangers failed to register a single effort on target in the first half.

And they were made to pay early in the second half.

Astley looped his header over Jack Butland after Robertson had again won the first contact from Callum Jones’ free-kick.

Russell Martin threw on Kieran Dowell and Nico Raskin looking for a spark.

But things only got worse in 59 minutes when Fin Robertson burst through only to be hauled down by Nasser Djiga - leaving Don Robertson with no option but to flash the red card.

Rangers eventually got the leveller when Gassama cut inside Drey Wright and was hauled down, with Tavernier firing in the spot-kick.

Cyriel Dessers grabbed what he thought was the winner in 96 minutes but VAR ruled the striker was offside. Here's five big talking points from the match...
