OPA hosts 38th Annual Conference and 4th National Apex Award

The Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) held its 38th Annual Conference and 4th National Apex Awards on 19-20 August 2025 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo, highlighting professional excellence and fostering dialogue on national development.

The event opened with an inaugural ceremony, attended by Chief Guest Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, Speaker of Parliament, alongside leaders from the professional, academic, and public sectors. OPA President Sujeewa Lal Dahanayake emphasized the significance of professional collaboration in national development, marking 50 years of the organisation’s multidisciplinary efforts.
The conference theme, “Resilience and Outpace Redefined: Thriving and Adapting,” was underscored by President-Elect Jayantha Gallehewa, stressing resilience and adaptability as crucial to Sri Lanka's progress.
