Worst Welsh run piles pressure on boss Gatland

WALES slumped to a 12th straight Test defeat as the pressure ramped up for head coach Warren Gatland at Principality Stadium.
For the first time since 1937, Wales went a whole calendar year without a win and many will feel that Gatland's job is now hanging by a thread.
The Springboks ran in seven tries through flanker Franco Mostert, Eben Etzebeth (below), KurtLee Arendse, Aphelele Fassi, Elrigh Louw, Jordan Hendrikse and Gerhard Steenekamp, while Hendrikse kicked five goals.
Wales claimed consolation scores from wing Rio Dyer and flanker James Botham, with Ben Thomas adding one conversion, but the game was done inside the opening quarter as South Africa posted three tries.
