Voters treat Starmer to damning verdict on policies

VOTERS have given a damning verdict on Labour’s treatment of pensioners, farmers, small businesses — and “people like me”.
A stark majority — 56% — of those polled by Ipsos think the way the Government has treated older people is “worse than they should be”.
This scathing judgment follows the shock axing of winter fuel payments for the vast majority of pensioners. Public outrage forced Labour into a recent humiliating U-turn.
A solid majority of people - 54% — also think the treatment of farmers, small businesses and workers has been worse than they deserve.
