Star Doris's dogs 'may have caused her pneumonia death'

ONE of the many sick pets rescued by Hollywood legend Doris Day could have triggered the pneumonia that killed her, a top US pathologist claims.
Dr Michael Hunter believes that the actress and singer may have caught a fatal infection from a dog with kennel cough.
Doris died aged 97 in May 2019, with a coroner recording pneumonia as the cause of her death.
The Calamity Jane star, known for her iconic hit Que Sera, Sera in the 1956 Alfred Hitchcock film The Man Who Knew Too Much, was renowned for her animal welfare efforts.
