Toon looked lethargic in defeat admits Howe
EDDIE HOWE has hit back at Alan Shearer's claim that Newcastle United were “lazy” in their 3-41 defeat at West Ham last weekend.
Toon and England legend Shearer (below) branded the horror show at the London Stadium as “Lazy. Leggy. Lethargic.”
But Howe - whose side bounced back from the loss against the Hammers with a Champions League win over Athletic Bilbao - says he is prepared to use the criticism as fuel ahead of the encounter with Brentford today.
