Packham lifts lid on 'TV marriage'

SPRINGWATCH presenter Chris Packham has revealed his “TV marriage” to co-star Michaela Strachan has its ups and downs like any long-term relationship.

But despite their differences in personalities they are still going strong, three decades on.

Chris, 63, says that aside from his younger sister Jenny Packham – the fashion designer favourite of the Princess of Wales – Michaela is the person he has known the longest and still talks too.

He described their relationship as “rare and extraordinarily valuable”.

“We both have had our trials and tribulations throughout the course of that ‘work marriage’ and there is that mutual respect for each other’s professionalism,” he said.
