MPs ready to debate snap UK election after petition

CALLS for a snap general election will be debated in Parliament tomorrow after more than a million voters signed a petition.
The online poll stated: “We want an immediate general election to be held. We think the majority need and want change.”
It comes as a poll by news site Politico showed the Labour Party tied with the Greens on 16%, behind Kemi Badenoch’s Conservatives (18%) and trailing Nigel Farage’s Reform UK (29%).
