Khan calls for protests as he starts prison sentence

IMRAN Khan called for nationwide protests across Pakistan last night as he began a three-year jail sentence for corruption.
The former PM was convicted of selling off state gifts and not declaring the income, in one of more than 100 cases against him.
In a pre-recorded video address posted on social media last night, Khan, 70, said: "I have only one appeal - don't sit at home silently. I am struggling for you and the country and your children's future."
