Jenrick: I'll win back the red wall and kick out Keir

TORY leadership favourite Robert Jenrick today declares himself the heir to Boris Johnson with a vow to win back the "red wall" and kick Sir Keir Starmer out of Downing Street.
The former immigration minister pledged to build the defeated Conservatives into "a truly national party" that takes back seats in the North and Midlands.
Mr Jenrick declared: "I am determined to win back the red wall and I believe we can."
And his campaign received a major boost as he was backed by 10 former red wall MPs who lost their seats to Labour this year.
The battle to replace Rishi Sunak as Tory leader will dominate the party conference in Birmingham this week but the contest has been hit by claims that "dirty tricks" are being deployed to manipulate the result.
Allies of Kemi Badenoch have accused Mr Jenrick's supporters of trying to keep her off the final ballot, when party members choose between two will candidates.
