TRAVELLERS in London are being plagued by pickpockets at major transport hubs, with more than 30 people being targeted per day.
King's Cross Station tops the lists as the worst place for the crime but crooks are also active on overground and Tube stations, stealing wallets, phones and other valuables from commuters and visitors.
The busy rail terminus achieved the dubious distinction of having the highest number of crimes reported last year, with 656 thefts.
The capital's other main stations are also favourite grounds, hunting with Finsbury Park seeing 433 thefts, Euston 424, Stratford 323, Paddington 304, and St Pancras International 178.
By contrast, the safest station is Marylebone, with 25 thefts.
