TOMMY FREEMAN insists England can be kings of the air and get their Six Nations campaign off to a flyer against Ireland in Dubiin on Saturday.
Freeman is convinced Steve Borthwick's side can do the business against a side in transition and missing boss Andy Farrell, who is on Lions duty, if they land the first blows.
The Northampton wing has already got one over the Irish this season - helping Saints to a 34-32 Champions Cup win over Munster last week - and is aiming to double up against their national team.
England are expecting the high balls to rain down from the Irish and defusing that assault, led by Irish 10 in possession Sam Prendergast and chasers like James Lowe and Mack Hansen, will be key to claiming a first win at the Aviva since 2019.
