SATIRIST'S DREAM ROLE

- By Chris Riches

Even Labour MPs say they can't get enough of me imitating Angela

AN ANGELA Rayner impersonator says even Labour MPs have praised her lampooning of their controversial former deputy leader.

Satirist Jenny Stanton, 46, is a favourite in countless homes, with her hilarious video parodies of Sir Keir Starmer’s former second-in-command also viewed millions of times on YouTube and TikTok.

Earlier this month, the firebrand MP for Ashton-under-Lyne resigned for breaking the Ministerial Code, by underpaying stamp duty on an £800,000 flat in Hove, East Sussex.

Now Jenny - normally known by her nom de plume “Intel Lady” - has finally unmasked herself to tell the Express that the former deputy could end up haunting the Prime Minister.

The comedienne has been stunned by the number of Ms Rayner’s colleagues who have messaged her to praise her mocking of their onetime party flagbearer.

Married mum-of-two Jenny, from Yorkshire, said: “I only deal with people who have a presence and Angela Rayner has presence, whether you like her or disagree with her politics. She’s the new John Prescott and therefore the darling of the Left. She’s also impressive in her own way.
