ANTHONY ELANGA was the toast of a stunning first-half blitz as Nottingham Forest inflicted yet more misery upon Ipswich to finally end their away-day hoodoo.

Next season will mark 30 years since Forest’s last involvement in European competition.

But with nine matches left to play, their Champions League dream remains firmly on track after Elanga’s ruthless double as Nikola Milenkovic and Jota Silva also found the target to end a run of three league defeats on the road.

After shipping three goals in the space of six minutes before the break, Ipswich refused to throw in the towel but two fine goals from Jens Cajuste and George Hirst offered little consolation for the Tractor Boys, whose top-flight winless run extended to 10 matches.
