|May 26, 2024
A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed to death late at night on a beach and another was badly injured.
The 17-year-old boy, from Lancashire, was held yesterday after a double stabbing at 11.42pm on Friday.
A woman aged 34 from Poole was pronounced dead at Durley Chine beach and a woman aged 38 was hospitalised with "very serious" injuries.
The woman who survived was still receiving care last night, police said.
Bournemouth's popular blue flag beach has become a drug-fuelled "nogo" area after dark, residents say.
