RAW emotion will swirl around Bradford today as tributes are paid to those who tragically died at Valley Parade 40 years ago.
On May 11, 1985, when Bradford City hosted Lincoln, a fire broke out in the main stand, killing 56 and injuring at least 265.
An annual city centre memorial service ensures those who perished are never forgotten but today’s 40th anniversary tributes have extra resonance.
