Welcomed to newly revamped Methodist Church

Stirling Methodist Church welcomed people to its newly refurbished building in Queen Street on Saturday morning.

Friends, neighbours and visitors from further afield came to see the "new look", find out about rooms to hire and about the church as a worshipping community.

A visitor to the open day, Hilary Henderson, said: "The renovations to the church, especially the improvements for those with disabilities, makes for a very open and friendly welcome."

Stirling Methodist Church is one of only a few churches in Scotland, and the first Methodist Church in Scotland, to be awarded the Eco Congregation’s Gold Award.
