SMVDU NCC & NSS Coordinators participate in ‘Thana Diwas'

In a significant step towards strengthening community engagement and fostering cooperation between law enforcement agencies and educational institutions, Dr. Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator, and Dr. Rajiv Kumar, NSS Coordinator of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), actively participated in the "Thana Diwas" function organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Police under the Civic Action Programme at Police Post Kakryal.
The event was held in the presence of senior police officials including Paramvir Singh (SSP Reasi), Vipin Chandran (SDPO Katra), and Sh. Bhism Dubey, along with several representatives from nearby villages. The objective of the Thana Diwas initiative is to enhance police-public interaction, address grievances at the grassroots level, and build trust between the community and the police force.
