Justice Sindhu Sharma of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court upheld the detention under PSA of Yudhbir Singh a hardcore criminal.
The petitioner challenged the detention order No. PSA 10 of 2024 dated March 14, 2024, issued by the District Magistrate, Jammu detaining the detenu-Yudhbir Singh alias Bablu, by the Detaining Authority on the ground that he is a hardcore criminal and has constantly been involved in numerous criminal offences that are of serious and grave nature and with a view to prevent him from committing any act, the detenu was detained vide order dated March 14, 2024.
