The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Doda, Jammu & Kashmir, Mehraj Malik, has come under fire following serious allegations of misconduct towards doctors at Government Medical College (GMC) Doda.

An FIR has been lodged against the legislator based on a complaint filed by an associate professor at the medical college. The woman doctor alleged that Mehraj Malik used social media platforms to issue public threats and made abusive, gendered, and derogatory remarks targeting her.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, prompting the Dogra Front and Shiv Sena, under the leadership of Ashok Gupta, to organize a massive rally in Jammu city. Protesters demanded strict action against the MLA, expressing solidarity with the medical community and condemning the unacceptable behavior displayed by a public representative.
