Cheap politics can’t diminish India’s honour: Dr. Tahir slams Bhagwant Mann over Modi jibe
State Times
|July 13, 2025
BJP spokesperson from Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Tahir Chowdhary, strongly condemned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his remarks targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his diplomatic visits and international honours.
-

In a sharp rebuttal, Chowdhary called Mann's comments "irresponsible, childish, and disrespectful to the stature of the Prime Minister."
He said, "Such statements reflect the immaturity and frustration within the Aam Aadmi Party.
Instead of focusing on governance and addressing Punjab's grave issues like drug abuse and lawlessness, the Chief Minister is indulging in mockery that belittles India's global image."
Dr Chowdhary defended the Prime Minister's foreign outreach, highlighting how Modi's diplomacy has elevated India's global standing.
