ASP Kishtwar conducts extensive tour of Marwah/Warwan

In a significant public outreach initiative, Additional Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Pardeep Singh along with SDPO Marwah, Vijay Bhagat, conducted a comprehensive three-day tour of the far-flung Marwah and Warwan areas of District Kishtwar.

During the visit, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings were held at multiple locations, wherein the officers interacted with a large number of locals and listened to their long-standing grievances. The public raised several key issues, with major demands including:
Residents expressed deep concern that even after 78 years of independence, villages in Marwah and Warwan continue to remain without electricity, highlighting decades of infrastructural neglect.
