ZAN Vipotnik's double took him to the top of Championship goal-scoring charts - and handed Swansea City a deserved 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Slovenian tapped home to hand his side the lead midway through the first half, before Mathias Jorgensen equalised.

Connor O’Riordan's own goal early in the second half handed the lead back to the hosts, who made sure of the win when Vipotnik nodded home his 15th goal in all competitions, and his 13th in the Championship.

The 23-year-old is believed to have already attracted attention from other clubs this month following his rich run of form, and this performance will have done little to prevent his stock rising further as Swansea secured their fifth win in six home league outings.

Indeed, Vitor Matos hasn't tasted defeat here since the 2-1 reverse at the hands of Derby County in November - his first game in charge.

The result pushes Swansea up to 15th in the Championship table, with perhaps the only blot of the night being the sight of Ethan Galbraith limping off with what looked like an injury deep into the second half.

One can only hope his withdrawal was merely a precaution given his obvious influence on this team.
