The Swans have already brought Luka Modric and Snoop Dogg on board as minority investors in recent months, in moves Gorringe believes will have hugely positive commercial implications for the club.

Speaking on the Business of Sport podcast, Gorringe made the point that both individuals boast a combined online following of 281 million ahead of any club in the Premier League.

However, Gorringe has suggested there's still room for more celebrity investment from elsewhere around the world.

“The model that the ownership put in place was always to attract high-profile individuals that enable us to attract new audiences, and ultimately give a strategic benefit to the football club,” he said.
