SUNDAY afternoon presented a quandary for Sean Bowen as Uttoxeter and Cartmel staged jumps fixtures.

Both are happy hunting grounds for the champion jockey, but skilful though he is, he could not be in two places at once.
He had won at the Lake District track on Friday aboard his brother Mickey's Fair-lawn Flyer, who was scoring for the fifth time in a row.
Bowen settled for Uttoxeter on Sunday, which boasted some valuable prize money for the time of year, and duly rode a double for James Owen.
